Swiftpoint Mouse

Swiftpoint has just announced the release of their Swiftpoint mouse, which is quite an impressive product, dedicated to mobile users that need a little more accuracy than their laptops' touchpads can provide, but still want to maintain the versatility and space-need of the portable computers.

“It is extremely exciting to be able to announce to the world that the Swiftpoint mouse will be available in a matter of weeks," says company CEO and product inventor Grant Odgers, "We have been receiving regular enquiries from people wanting to know when they can get their hands on one, so now we can confirm it is very soon."

When I said innovative, I really meant it, as the Swiftpoint is a mouse that has been designed to operate on that specific area of a laptop, right next to the touchpad. The palmrest is usually not very large, and would surely not fit a normal-size mouse.

"The Swiftpoint mouse can be used in so many environments and with a variety of applications from precision design applications, gaming to general laptop use on planes, trains, buses or around the home. We truly believe it will change the way people use their laptops." added Odgers.

Sadly, there are some laptops that will not allow this to operate that accurate, since the palmrests are textured, and quite shiny. Pricing for this little fellow is $103 as a pre-order in the UK. You can also see a video bellow, presenting the mouse more adequately.
